The Blood & Honey Icon Bird Goddess rendered by artist Connie Greyhorse Simpson is realized as multiplicous as the South Slavic life world. The anthropomorphic artifacts from the Vinca culture, the same soil of what was known as former Yugoslavia, shows a Slavic spiritual ecology understanding the deeper interpenetration that our lives are threads of one tapestry: Mother Nature.
