Pita, also known as strudel, is the staple of South Slavic societies. Sana Koric is an outstanding chef as is her mother which is icongraphic of the intricate agriculture and bioculinary skills passed down from mother to daughter intergenerationally. The intense labor of cultivation and then to preserve or celebrate the hard earned food stuff in the South Slavic bioculinary dish-Pita that can be filled with cheese, meat to apples-fruit is the outcome of skill, focused attention and care. In the aftermath of war, the Bosnians returned to the ancient South Slavic way of life: Mother Earth.
