Women's International Day- Denver

Silvana Hoitt- In Denver we organized an impromptu event on the 8th of March, 2010 on the Highlands Bridge overlooking Lower Downtown Denver, a densely populated area of the city and crossing over the main highway through town. To show our support for women worldwide and our solidarity with Women for Women International's Bridge Campaign we gathered under the banner of Kolo:Women's Cross Cultural Collaboration, a non profit activist organization founded by and run by Danica Anderson out of Olympia Washington. We held the event from noon till one o'clock in the afternoon in the afternoon.
