CURA (Girls) Helsinki Human Rights Danica Presents
Danica Anderson discusses how it took three years of coming to Novi Travnik, Bosnia before the Kolo Sumejja women asked her why does she keep coming back. "I keep coming back because you are my teachers. I know I am to learn from your life experiences," stated Danica at the CURA meeting March 2010. Most women, especially, negate their worth and their life experiences as being non-essential or a failure. Kolo Trauma format looks to heal that fracture and mis-belief pointing to how 1st person stories heal and help layer another memory over the painful recollections.

The first person stories that we are allowed to speak in this Kolo forum are heard and validated. We are strong.
