Herstoric Meeting- 10th anniversary of the Kolo in Bosnia 2010
This October 2011, the annual gathering in Bosnia continues. In the photograph above, Kolo Sumejja President Sana Koric is with Danica Anderson CEO of the Kolo: Women’s Cross Cultural Collaboration. For over a decade the Kolo has been dedicated to one small area of Bosnia and a small circle (kolo) of women. The results are extraordinary- women are the culture healers, women manifest culture inclusive of both genders.
The conference is filled with dancing the round dance, Bosnian food stuffs referred to as Bio-culinary and the sharing of first person narratives for healing the trauma and the wounds from living in a world of catastrophic violence and increasing natural disasters.
Reserve your place for the conference/gathering. If you cannot arrange to go, provide a scholarship for those who would but do not have funds. Additionally, sending any amount of a donation helps the Kolo Trauma Treatment and Training to continue self-sustainability in healing their communities.
